Computer Science Freshman

Posted in computing, me by Francisco Marco-Serrano @ Oct 2, 2008

That’s me! As an economist I had the technical and mathematical knowledge to model, as an amateur programmer I could run these models. However, I always wanted to enroll in Computer Science to professionalise my expertise; now is the time!.

I’m starting this week!!!

The Right Pill is Leftish…

Posted in me by Francisco Marco-Serrano @ Jul 13, 2008

…because is red.

This won’t be as cryptic as it seems for those of you not aliens to Matrix universe. As Neo, I was 30 when decided to take the red pill. Sometimes I feel like I’m returning to Matrix…, but it’s just a nightmare; sometimes I wonder if I shouldn’t taken it and have had the blue one…

Nah… that’s bollocks!. I feel awesome.

Think Twice

Posted in jokes, me by Francisco Marco-Serrano @ Apr 23, 2008

From now on I’ll try not to blog on the first think that comes to my mind. And, as the guys from wikiHow say, I won’t unless it is…

Effective (and as a economist I would add Efficient)

Necessary (and could we be adding Needed?)

Accurate (I can’t help it, so probably if it was me, it’d be Arrogant)

Timely (if it’s JIT, better)

Appropriate (refer to the first A if you’re me)

Of course, I’ll start first thing tomorrow morning. At the moment I just broke a couple of ENATA rules.

I dont’ want to seem cocky or overinflated when I present the following video:

YouTube looking forward

As Rev King, I have a dream…, but it’s nothing to do with the civil rights (although I do dream of equality). It’s got to do with OR. Time ago I started a website, kProductivity.com, and a blog, FM Waves (this one), just for empowering my hobby (OR)…, I talked about my Way of Life:

"kProductivity is the alter ego for Francisco Marco-Serrano and his desires for improving the productivity of the world he lives in. Francisco Marco-Serrano has a degree on Economics…"

…but since I read the words of Carrie Beam, I started to be rather jealous (in a healthy way). Is there a possibility for a "Way of live" to become a "way of making a living"?. I’ve been spinning around like hell, working for others, working with the family, and/or lecturing…, what I said, a scramble… until now.

"Now is the time…", and took measures: K|P|K.

Lecturing

Posted in business, economics, me by Francisco Marco-Serrano @ Jan 12, 2008

It was a real good experience, although short, when years ago after gaining my degree and before leaving to the private sector I had the opportunity to lecture for 2 months. Now it’ s time for rejoin the Faculty… . I’m quite near of getting it! I’m really happy.
