I have read quite a few texts on how to become a consultant in the late years, and some would recommend you need the following (right-hand side on the equations is mine):
So, where’s the need for "gray hair"? (trust me, some articles use it as a metaphor for the equation). Don’t matter!: At my thirty-odd age I have some of my own already!!!… and the rest.

You’re right, that’s just Francisco having a laugh again and again! You’ll be with me if I tell you that almost everybody relates "open source" to "free as in free beer" (in Spanish there’s no need for disambiguation, since free as in freedom is not homonimous to free as free beer).
Well…, I’ve recently been reading some posts (here and here you have a couple split by an ocean but not the same language; surely there’ll be loads of them) regarding (unnoticed) "free consulting".
Consultants, take care. "Open Source Consulting" should be free… as in freedom, not to get free drinks.
As Rev King, I have a dream…, but it’s nothing to do with the civil rights (although I do dream of equality). It’s got to do with OR. Time ago I started a website, kProductivity.com, and a blog, FM Waves (this one), just for empowering my hobby (OR)…, I talked about my Way of Life:
"kProductivity is the alter ego for Francisco Marco-Serrano and his desires for improving the productivity of the world he lives in. Francisco Marco-Serrano has a degree on Economics…"
…but since I read the words of Carrie Beam, I started to be rather jealous (in a healthy way). Is there a possibility for a "Way of live" to become a "way of making a living"?. I’ve been spinning around like hell, working for others, working with the family, and/or lecturing…, what I said, a scramble… until now.

Sometimes best solutions are gathered from other sectors, or other firms, it’s what we call benchmarking. Please let me propose some sort of animal benchmarking: could we learn anything from alpha dogs leadership???.
