You’re right, that’s just Francisco having a laugh again and again! You’ll be with me if I tell you that almost everybody relates "open source" to "free as in free beer" (in Spanish there’s no need for disambiguation, since free as in freedom is not homonimous to free as free beer).

Well…, I’ve recently been reading some posts (here and here you have a couple split by an ocean but not the same language; surely there’ll be loads of them) regarding (unnoticed) "free consulting".

Consultants, take care. "Open Source Consulting" should be free… as in freedom, not to get free drinks.

Some business models are explained: "Freemium", Advertising, Cross-subsidies, Zero marginal cost, Labor exchange, Gift economy.

But the question raised in my previous post still remains: will we be able to monetarise it?.
