After receiving this March’s Decision Analysis Society Newsletter I searched the web after some more quotes on decision making. Here you have a good link: Decision Making Quotes.

PS The quote in question was a Pytagoras’ one: “Choose always the way that seems the best, however rough it may be. Custom will soon render it easy and agreeable”. I still apply it to my life!

Who let the JERKS out??

Posted in jerks, productivity by Francisco Marco-Serrano @ Apr 9, 2007

Dear Folks,

Last week I introduced you to the Mckinsey Quarterly. Now it’s time to let you know about one of the latest articles have appeared on: Building the Civilized Workplace.

Do you feel harassed at work?, anyone insults you?, do you receive rude interruptions from colleagues?, or hidden agendas are the main subject in coffee breaks?. Then your employers are facing higher costs than they think!!!, from high turnover, to lower productivity and motivation, and no comments about possible legal actions. No-jerks policy: something to think about!.
